Hundreds of New Zealand children chomping their way through more than 300 boxes of Weet-Bix in 400 litres of milk have claimed the world record for the largest cereal breakfast, doubling the previous record, which was set in New York.
As part of their support to the New Zealand Olympic team, Weet-Bix held a challenge last month that resulted in 648 children and their teachers attempt their own world record for the largest cereal breakfast.
Guinness World Records confirmed that the attempt, held on August 7 had been a success.
