Comedian King in court on driving charge

Television personality and comedian Mike King is facing a driving charge for allegedly riding a motorcycle while his licence was suspended.

King, 49, briefly appeared in Auckland District Court yesterday after police alleged he rode a Harley Davidson motorcycle in June, the New Zealand Herald reported.

King pleaded not guilty. After his appearance his agent David Steele said the incident did not involve alcohol or road rage.
