Consumer NZ, making a pitch for new members, is making information on its website free - for one day.
On Monday (May 30) Consumer will give New Zealanders access to all its reports and investigations on "the best of just about everything and it won't cost a bean".
That day anyone will be able to check out more than 500 test reports and buyer guides on line.
Normally it's only members who can see such reports and guides.
Visitors to www.consumer.org.nz on Monday will also be offered discounted membership.
