A driver is dead after two trucks crashed in Christchurch early today.
Police said the crash occurred on Pound Rd, near the intersection with Roberts Rd, in Islington around 3.25am.
One of the drivers died at the scene.
The police serious crash unit is in attendance, and an investigation is under way.
