Lingering fog has kept flight restrictions in place over Auckland Airport today.
Thick fog blanketed the city from early this morning and has remained, blurring the tops of high-rise building from the street.
Numerous domestic flights have been cancelled or delayed, with the fog also affecting international flights.
Almost 60 domestic flights have been cancelled and 35 delayed.
Jetstar flight JQ216 from Singapore, which was delayed due to fog, had now landed, Auckland Airport said.
China Southern flight CZ335 from Guangzhou was diverted to Christchurch early this morning.
