Killer's sentencing adjourned

The heartache for Ashburton mother Sina Solomona's family is set to continue after the sentencing of her killer was adjourned.

The teenager was to be sentenced on Friday in the High Court at Timaru after pleading guilty last October to her murder and sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection.

However, the High Court in Christchurch confirmed yesterday the sentencing had been put off following a tele-conference held late last week between the Crown prosecutor, defence counsel and a judge.

It is not yet known when he will appear next, however a date may be set next week.
