A Waihī man has been critically injured after being struck by a microlight plane propeller.
Lincoln Davies from the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter said crews were called to Waihī to help a man in his 70's after he was struck about 6pm yesterday.
He was flown to Waikato Hospital.
