A Putaruru man has been committed for trial, charged with the murder of 22-month-old Tyla-Maree Darryl Flynn in June last year.
Rikki Hotham, 30, appeared at a depositions hearing in Tokoroa District Court today and pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder.
He was remanded on bail and will reappear in the High Court in Rotorua in September.
