Two people have been injured in a three-car crash in Auckland in which a man ran away from the scene.
Police are searching the area around Clark St in New Lynn for the man, who fled after the smash occurred around 12.15pm.
One person was believed to be seriously injured and was taken to North Shore Hospital, said Senior Sergeant Chris Money of the police northern communications centre.
A second person suffered minor injuries, he said.
"Police are in the area making enquiries and trying to get footage from the scene," Mr Money said.
