An elderly Auckland couple who were reported as missing on Christmas day have been found.
The couple, aged 88 and 91, had been visiting family in Botany Downs and left just before 7pm yesterday to return to their home in Greenlane.
Police became involved when the couple failed to make it home.
The couple have now been located at their home address.
"Apparently they got lost but eventually found their way home," police said.
