Convicted paedophile and former Christian Heritage Party leader Graham Capill has been denied parole for the third time as he still poses "an undue risk to the ... community", the Parole Board says.
Capill, a former police prosecutor, was sentenced to nine years' prison in 2005 for child sex offences.
His latest bid for parole, his third, was declined as he has not undergone any sex offender treatment programmes while in prison, The Press reported.
"The board concludes that if released now, with approximately four years and nine months of his sentence remaining, without the benefit of treatment ... Mr Capill would pose an undue risk to the safety of the community," the Parole Board decision said.
