Panel to discuss Green Zone changes

The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (Cera) will broadcast a half-hour discussion panel on Maori Television tomorrow to cover "some of the key issues'' around Green Zone changes.

Cera said today the move is part of its ongoing information sharing process.

The discussion will be facilitated by Cera chief executive Roger Sutton and involves representatives of EQC, the Department of Building and Housing, IAG Insurance, and Tonkin and Taylor.

A Cera spokeswoman said: "It's hoped that the free-to-air broadcast will enable people in other parts of New Zealand to watch and understand the changes, especially those people who have moved from Christchurch but still own homes in the region.

"Cera is grateful for the assistance of Maori Television, CTV and TV3 in getting this panel discussion to air.''

It will be broadcast on Maori Television tomorrow at 1.32pm.
