Three earthquakes of about magnitude 3 were felt in Christchurch on Saturday.
According to GeoNet, they were all at a depth of only 4km, and all centred about 10km southwest of Christchurch.
The largest of the three was of magnitude 3.5 at 5.45pm on Saturday.
