A man who escaped police custody in Rotorua has been found.
Police were looking for the 27-year-old man after he escaped from officers at Rotorua Hospital on 23 August.
He was found at a Rotorua property yesterday morning.
The man is due to appear in Rotorua District Court this morning charged with escaping police custody, resisting police and assaulting police.
Police Commissioner Mike Bush announced a national review of the custody and transport of prisoners following the escape of four prisoners in a week.
