Schoolboys in court over rugby training death

The trial of two schoolboys accused of the manslaughter of Auckland teen Stephen Dudley is set to begin at the High Court in Auckland today.

Stephen, 15, died after a school rugby training session on June 6 last year.

He was taken to Auckland City Hospital after an alleged assault at the training session and died a short time later.

The two accused have both pleaded not guilty. They were committed to trial at an appearance at the High Court in November.
