Stolen car crashes into sex shop

Lubricant and porn were strewn among the broken glass from an Auckland sex-shop window destroyed by a stolen car today.

The early morning crash at Peaches and Cream in Papakura smashed the shop's front window.

The two occupants in the car ran from the scene but police arrested two people later.

A freelance videographer captured the aftermath, and wrote on YouTube that a bottle of lubricant tipped on its side and pornographic DVDs could be seen among the broken glass.

The smash happened about 12.20am today, on the corner of Broadway and O'Shannessey St.

A police spokesman said the car was stolen.

A person was charged with unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, careless driving, drink-driving and breaching bail and will appear in court this week.
