A teenage girl is in Waikato Hospital in Hamilton after a fall in Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula late last night.
Few details were available but the girl was classified as having serious but not life-threatening head injuries after she fell in Lincoln Rd, Whangamata, about 11pm.
She was flown to Waikato Hospital in the Hamilton-based Westpac rescue helicopter.
