Several crashes and breakdowns on Auckland's motorways this morning have caused headaches for motorists.
The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) tweeted that traffic travelling northbound along the southern motorway was heavy due to a crash at Hill Rd earlier this morning.
At one stage, traffic was backed up for 90 minutes, NZTA tweeted.
Police said the road was now cleared, but traffic still remained slow.
Meanwhile a crash at the Tristram Ave interchange near State Highway 1 was blocking the entrance to Croftfield Lane.
Another crash this morning, on the Northwestern Motorway, or State Highway 16, has left the right lane at Newton Rd blocked.
NZTA tweeted that there were "no delays at this stage" but urged motorists to take care.
A breakdown on the Southern Motorway near Spaghetti Junction was causing minor delays for southbound traffic, NZTA tweeted.
Southbound traffic was also moving slowly along the northern motorway.
