Police are appealing for witnesses after a truck crashed into a house in Christchurch.

No one was seriously injured when the truck and trailer collided with the property on Worsleys Rd shortly before 9.45am in the suburb of Cracroft, just south of the central city.

A crane and tow truck have been sent to the site to remove the vehicle, police said.

The driver was taken to hospital and has since been discharged with minor injuries.

The passenger was not injured.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the truck and trailer travelling along Worsleys Rd this morning or the crash.
