A 45-year-old woman who drove from Mount Maunganui to Tauranga with a caravan in tow while was nearly three times over limit, police say.
Police tested the woman when she arrived at the Tauranga motorcamp at 11.30am yesterday.
"She was so intoxicated she could barely stand," Sergeant Dan Roser told the Bay of Plenty Times.
A 19-year-old driver on a restricted licence was also pinged in the Bay of Plenty while five times over the limit. He was carrying four sober passengers at the time, including one who held a full licence.
