New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has told families of the 29 miners who died in the Pike River tragedy in 2010 that he's willing to go into the West Coast mine.
Mr Peters, who worked in mines in the late 1960s, says he's read the safety reports and he believes the mine's safe to re-enter.
