Invercargill museum highlights women’s rights progress

Southland Heritage Month is showing how far things have progressed for New Zealand women since 1893.

 

This year marks 125 years since women gained the right to vote and Heritage South has opened a pop-up suffrage museum to celebrate the milestone.
