Armed police called out to South Dunedin

A property searched by armed police this morning is connected to a Dunedin gang.

Up to 25 officers, some carrying rifles, stormed the brick warehouse in Bathgate St in South Dunedin, seizing several items.

Detective Dave Checketts says police are working to identify if any of the property is stolen.

No arrests have been made in relation to the raid.

Locals say the warehouse had been used to repair cars for cash.
