NZSki chief executive Paul Anderson says a big dump of snow will be more than welcome, but visitor numbers at Queenstown's ski areas remain high.
 
Coronet Peak's patronage is down from last year's exceptional winter, The Remarkables skifield has been 'extremely busy', with some record days so far.
