A Queenstown-based helicopter pilot is slamming visiting US Air Force F-16 pilots as irresponsible and foolish.
This comes after they were seen flying low, close to a helicopter and three parachutists near Franz Josef Glacier three weeks ago.
The Fighting Falcon jets were not in radio contact at the time, sparking anger and safety concerns from some West Coast tourist helicopter operators.
