Fiordland crested penguin rescued from busy public area

An injured Fiordland crested penguin caught hopping along the rocks off the Dunedin coast is now in safe hands.
 
The Department of Conservation was called by members of the public, concerned for the safety of the penguin on a rock wall, below the Saint Clair Hot Salt Water Pool.
