you did a story on me in 2002 when i had my first art exhibition in wanaka. i had only been living in new zealand a short time, arriving from chicago, my place of origin. it is now 15 years later, i am now a nz resident since 2005, and will be applying for citizenship at the end of this year. this will be an exhibition of new work, titled "winter flowers". i have been back and forth the last few years attending to elderly parents in the USA but now i am back permanently, this is my first exhibition in wanaka in quite some time. I will be using the masonic lodge for the show.
i will also be exhibiting, starting september 1st, at the cardrona distillery and museum thru to january 31st, 2018. and another solo exhibition in 2018 in the arrow town museum. i am in the process of building my own studio gallery on my new property on balneaves lane.
The "Winter Flowers"exhibit will be the last 7 days of july.(24th to 31st) open noon to 4pm daily.
i am 63, lived, painted and exhibited in 10 countries but new zealand has been home longer than any other location. shattered previous record by 12 years.
