Human beings have come a long way since dwelling in caves sitting around camp-fires, and yet this is one of the reasons we all evolved.
Storytelling be it truths or fabrication it's what we as people thrive on.
Imagine a world without a voice.
Religion, folklore, myths, history, even language all came about from stories to which we adapted and adhered our lifestyles to. Look at some of the good and bad centuries that have passed.
We have continued to spread and grow throughout the world bringing our culture and beliefs and adapting. Not one of us can say "I own this country." We are all visitors.
