I hooked up with Craig from Watercooled Sports, taking full advantage of his local knowledge of the great surf.
We drove to Purakaunui beach around the windy roads of the peninsula arriving to meet the guys from the Dunedin sup club.
Heading out to the surf was an experience for a girl from Liverpool. So beautiful everywhere I looked was a photo opportunity. After an hour of catching some 2-3' waves we were asked to leave by the biggest sealion I've ever seen. Repeating ''it's his playground'', we retreated back to the shore.
I usually ride with my dog on board I'm glad she wasn't here for this.
Thanks to my water proof camera I captured it.
