Don't let the manager of NZ King salmon Grant Rosewarne sweet talk the Otago Regional Council into allowing any research off the Otago coast so they can earn the Tiong Corporation hundreds of millions of $$$.
It's a filthy business fed by questionable food, producing a product far removed from wild fish and should not be encouraged. Many of the salmon develop lesions and are a risk to our wild fish.....these never make it to the super market shelves and are dumped.
Let the Asians pursue aquaculture in the own already fouled waterways rather than sanctioning large areas of our pristine coastline for their own benefits.
