The Water that Fell IV

On Thursday, April 6, a 3 month long exhibition of Jane Kellahan’s oil paintings will open in Twizel.

Kellahan’s paintings will be showcased in a brand new gallery in the Twizel Marketplace, located within the offices of booktwizel.com, a holiday home management company.

A private event will be held on Thursday evening to mark the launch of Kellahan’s exhibition as well as the formal opening of the booktwizel.com office space.

With over 20 years painting experience, Kellahan’s international awards include:

- 1 of 100 selected artists, worldwide, to exhibit at the London Biennale where her work received a ‘Special Mention’ (2015)

- Third Place at the Biennale of Chianciano in Italy. Peter Gagliardi, Museum Curator said her prize piece was “An excellent and breath-taking painting. The composition soft whilst the light captured is strong and powerful. This painting is definitely as Museum piece. A stimulating work that provokes contemplation.” (2011)

- Winner of Australia’s prestigious $25k Cricket Art Prize where her painting “White Wickets” was exhibited around Australia (2009)
