Local artists come together for final concert

Following the success of the 'Country Sessions' concerts held last year, local country artists are ending their concert series on a high.

Country Sessions Round 1 and 2 were both great successes in different ways but the artists still feel like they have more to give.

Set to perform at Forbury Raceway at 2:30 on Sunday, March 12 are main act Bronwyn, with support from Country Sessions regulars Bevan Gardiner and Dave Coleclough as well as Kelvin Cummings, Hyram Ballard and brother sister duo Campbell and Alyssa Landrebe. All six acts are successful Dunedin musicians in their own right who bring their own style of contemporary and traditional country music to the concert.

People can expect to hear a range of covers and originals from the artists. Bronwyn will be performing a couple of new songs for the first time that she hopes will be released officially later in the year. Ticket buyers are also looking forward to hearing Kelvin Cummings play some songs off his recent release "One Year".

It will be a great chance for people to relax, have a great time and support local musicians. The artists are all looking forward to what they believe will be a great afternoon.

Tickets are $15. Tickets can be brought at the door on the day or for more information or to book tickets contact Bronwyn on 027-9496880
