Clutha Views residents, staff and locals were all delighted on Friday, September 2 to see the new dementia garden open for the residents to enjoy.

The garden has been developed to reflect what is recognised as best practice principles of providing space and activities that are familiar from their earlier lives.

It is a wonderful asset not only for those living in the dementia unit at Clutha Views but also for the whole Clutha district.

The event followed a very successful 2 day certification audit where auditors had no findings to report and it is anticipated 2 Continuous Improvement recognitions will also be awarded.
