I'm in Vauxhall looking over the city, high in the sky I see a white object streaking across the sky around 5:45ish.
I thought it might be a jet, looked through my large spotting scope and it was not a jet.
It was very high up and coming down extremely fast, I could see waves of white smoke or air all around it.
Perplexing as it had a tail of smoke but was leaving no trail.
It dipped behind a cloud and re-appeared continuing to descend rapidly. I lost sight of it due to the sun.
I have no idea what this was but would be interested in other reports. I have some poor quality video, here are photos of it.
