No wonder Dunedin has such a horrendous record of pedestrian injuries and deaths at intersections.
This is a regular occurrence, almost every phase, at this intersection. Often by the time vehicles, especially truck & trailer units have cleared the intersection the red man is already flashing.
The pictures speak for themselves and clearly demonstrate driver inattention. No wonder people J walk! I do, is much safer than relying on drivers to obey the road rules.
