Zonta leads charge against gender-based violence

The Zonta Club of Metropolitan Dunedin along with Otago Boys' High School says "No" to violence against women.

Between November 25 and December 10 the Otago Boys' High School tower block will be lit up in orange in support of Zonta International's campaign against gender-based violence.

November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and begins the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence - an international campaign that aims to inspire action and end violence against women and girls around the world.

The lighting of the tower block is intended to raise awareness of violence against women and to call for a violence free world.

Local Zonta members are joining Zontians nationally and internationally in saying that violence against women and girls is not OK.
