Police are investigating an attempted robbery in Cromwell last night.
A spokeswoman said police were called to the Cromwell Four Square, in Achil St, at 8.45pm after an attempted robbery.
Nothing was taken and the lone offender left on foot after being confronted by a shop worker, she said.
