Making the most of it

New Zealand’s biggest river was a popular cooling-off spot  as the town’s temperature gauge clocked  up to 32degC, while MetService recorded a high of 31degC. The temperature has been consistently in the high 20s for the past week, after a summer of changeable  weather.
