Masterplan consultation phase to now focus on four areas

The next phase of the Cromwell Masterplan programme is about to begin, after four areas were selected for more feedback.

The shortlist was based on community feedback gathered during the engagement in June and July, and evidence gathered by the masterplan team, a Central Otago District Council statement this week said.

The four areas on which more consultation will now be done are Cromwell’s town centre, the Cromwell Memorial Hall, civic facilities, and "creating a spatial framework to appropriately accommodate growth".

The next round of consultation about these four options will take place in October and November.

It will be done through public information sessions, a survey and social media.
