A movable feast

The weather gods did not come to the party in the village yesterday, but almost 700 people enjoyed the ninth annual event anyway.

The sold-out event is traditionally held the length of Buckingham St, but first-time organiser the Arrowtown Promotions and Business Association decided yesterday morning to move it inside, in light of the inclement weather.

While some dined in the Athenaeum Hall, others retreated to some of the 12 participating restaurants to get their fill.
