A driver has escaped with minor injuries after their car went off a bridge into a creek near Hampden in North Otago.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened on State Highway 1, at the Big Kuri Creek bridge, about 4.30pm.
The driver was the only occupant and was not trapped in the vehicle.
