Police are warning Oamaru residents to lock their cars after a spate of thefts from vehicles in the town on Sunday night.
A stereo, sunglasses and wallets were taken from four unlocked cars on the South Hill of Oamaru.
The cars were parked in the Tamar-Upper Ure Sts area.
A storage warehouse in Weaver St was entered some time between August 24 and 31 and a vehicle and trailer were used to remove giftware and household goods.
