A series of lectures on climate change given recently at the University of Auckland by Dr Jim Salinger, former Niwa scientist and now an independent weather scientist, will be repeated at Palmerston this year.
The lectures are being organised by the Hampden Community Energy group and the Waihemo Wastebusters, of Palmerston.
The lectures, originally scheduled for Palmerston over three days in May, would be re-scheduled to dates in August or September, Trevor Norton, spokesman for the Hampden Community Energy group said.
The later dates would allow more time for organisation of the meetings.
