Police are warning road users to take care due to deep flooding around Waitaki Bridge.
The area affected is about 5km north of Oamaru Airport.
"There are no diversions in place and motorists are advised to avoid travelling in the area or delay travel if possible."
Local councils and emergency services are responding to incidents as required.
