About 80 delegates are expected in Oamaru in November for the Energy Trusts of New Zealand annual conference.
The group represents 22 energy trusts throughout New Zealand, including the Waitaki Power Trust, which has organised the conference in Oamaru for the first time.
Held over two days on November 6 and 7, the conference is in the Opera House with a dinner at the Homestead and tours around the area. Most of the trusts represented by the group own shares in electricity network companies.
The Waitaki Power Trust owns all the shares on behalf of consumers in Network Waitaki.
