Hand in hand

Local artist Bill Scott has completed his second panel on Transport Waimate’s 30m concrete grain silos in Queen St, Waimate.

The second of three murals on the silos depicts a 1973 meeting between New Zealand’s 29th prime minister, Waimate-born Norman Kirk, and a child at Waitangi.
