Kaitangata celebrates art

Kaitangata photographer Anne-Marie Davis puts the finishing touches to preparations for the inaugural Kaitangata Art Exhibition, which starts today at the town's old post office.

Ms Davis has assembled works from more than 70 artists with "an affection, affiliation or association with Kaitangata", and utilising a variety of materials, to display during the week-long exhibition.

"The exhibition really is about celebrating the creative spirit within us all," she said.

The exhibition will be open from 2pm to 7pm today, and daily from 3pm to 6pm until Sunday, March 25.
