Kurow's 'Hay family' gets some 'South Park' styling

Hay bales in the centre of the town have been painted to resemble people every year by members of the Slee family in Kurow. Janina Slee said the idea, which was taken from a town in Germany 23 years ago, was always a drawcard for tourists.

This year, her niece Lucy Tyrrell had designed a South Park theme to attract a younger audience, she said.
