A man was flown to Dunedin Hospital following a serious single vehicle crash in Kurow-Duntroon Rd in the Waitaki Valley earlier this week.
A police spokesman said the car had flipped near a 50kmh roadwork area.
A 62-year-old man was flown to Dunedin Hospital. St John said it treated one patient at the scene, who was in a moderate condition.
A police spokeswoman said the road was closed at the time and the serious crash unit notified.
