Organisers of the 2012 Network Waitaki-Waitaki District Sports Awards say they are thrilled by the calibre of nominations this year.
Sport Waitaki co-ordinator Kate Cartwright said 45 nominations representing 24 sports had been received this year.
An independent judging panel will select the category finalists, who will be named in February. The awards presentation is on March 11.
